Procedure

Arthroscopic knee surgery has multiple benefits for the management of intra-articular injuries, for example less postoperative pain, smaller wounds, easier rehabilitation and return to daily activities and sports.

It is made in small incisions of approximately 1 cm through which a lens is introduced into the joint and knee injuries are repaired through an image projected on the screen. It is very useful for the treatment of meniscus tears, cruciate ligaments, cartilage injuries such as chondromalacia or osteoarthritis, extraction of loose intra-articular bodies, among others.
